In de Eerste wereldoorlog werden oorlogsschepen beschilderd met misleidende ”dazzle painting”. Vijandelijke schutters zagen het perspectief verkeerd en schoten mis.
In WW 1 warships were ”dazzle painted” to mislead the enemy.
